With the spring equinox this past week and Easter just a couple days away, spring has officially sprung! While the weather may still be a little undecided here at our Lewisville TX event rentals warehouse, we’re soaking up the sunshine as it comes and enjoying these precious weeks of mild temperatures before summer turns up the heat.

Between budding blooms and pretty pastels, it’s hard to deny that spring is a gorgeous season for getting married. Whether you’re saying I do in March, April, or May, your springtime wedding is sure to be picture-perfect and as lovely as spring itself. We’re head over heels for spring elements that brides incorporate into their ceremonies and receptions during this flourishing season. Take a peek at a few of our favorites:
Floral Crowns: it’s no secret that flowers are the staple of a springtime wedding. But there are a few twists on florals that make for particularly lovely spring wedding details. We adore the current floral crown trend. Add a delicate chain crown to your bridal accessories, or tuck a few big bright blooms into your updo. Large or small, floral hair accessories make a springy statement that looks stunning—in person and in photos!
Delicate Perfume: some brides like to stick with their signature scent on their special day (which we definitely understand!). But we love to see brides invest in finding a new signature scent to use from that day forward. If you’re getting married soon, treat yourself to a new perfume that marks the beginning of your days as a Mrs. For a spring bride, fresh scents and floral notes are the perfect match. Keep your scent light and airy, with just the right dose of sweet. A popular spring choice is Daisy by Marc Jacobs (which also comes in a beautiful spring-inspired bottle your photographer will be excited to shoot when she captures all your wedding day details!).
Elegant pastels: incorporate the playfulness of spring with bright pastels in your wedding décor. Rose quartz and blue serenity are going to be big this year, thanks to Pantone. Skip the blush and gold, and instead opt for pops of pastel color in your bridesmaid dresses, in your centerpieces, or in boutonnieres.
The great outdoors: there’s no better way to enjoy spring and its refreshing weather than to host your wedding outside. Say I do under a floral arch in the spring breeze, or plan a reception to remember atop fresh spring grass. Our farm tables are the perfect match for this aesthetic, bringing the natural outdoors and wedded elegance together. If you prefer the indoors for the big day, you can still capture the spirit of spring by taking bridal portraits outdoors on one of our elegant vintage furniture pieces.
