Many couples love the idea of incorporating large vintage-style rugs into their wedding but don’t exactly know how to go about it. Today, we are focusing on these elements and providing advice and inspiration to help you decide on how you can use rug rentals on your special day.

Use as a Focal Point:

The colors and textures of a rug can really help accentuate other rentals and decor and help draw in the eye and create a beautiful focal point. You can use brightly colored rugs such as our Blakely Rug for a bold statement, or if your other decor has a lot going on, use a more subtle rug with small pops of color like the Prague Rug. Whichever way you go, using rugs is the perfect way to create a beautiful venue focal point and make the atmosphere more dynamic.

Aisle Runners:

This trend has started to become more and more popular, especially with couples craving a bohemian-themed wedding. If you really want to make your rug rentals the star of the show, put them on center stage and run them down the aisle. You can use a mix-match of rugs with different textures with similar colors to keep it cohesive or if you’re comfortable with a bit of chaos, just put together any rugs you like!  After all, it is YOUR day and with our rugs, you can’t go wrong!

At the Altar:

If you think running the rugs down the aisle is a bit too much for you, but still want the rug to play a big part, consider letting the rug join you as you share your vows at the altar. You can’t go wrong by placing a single rug under you to dress up the altar and for a little pop of quirky color.

Lounge Areas:

This might be one of my favorite ways to incorporate a rug into your wedding! Create a lounge area with beautiful sofas, cozy love seats, and decorative pillows for your guests to sit down, relax, and converse. By adding a rug to your lounge area, it creates a warm atmosphere and makes it look and feel like a little piece of home.
